drip-desk for HYDR8
In progress
In short: drip-desk is the booking and clinic operations system I'm building for HYDR8, a hydration clinic. Clients book in-office or mobile visits. Staff handle nurse coverage, intake and consent, memberships, and visit charts in one place. It's built to replace their off-the-shelf booking software (Mango Mint).
The problem
HYDR8 was running on general-purpose spa booking software.
What I built
- Booking by visit type first: office or mobile visit. Office bookings pick a real time slot that respects office hours, the lunch block, and the last-start cutoff.
- Nurse coverage: weekly hours or a connected calendar, used to match mobile visits, plus nurse payouts
- Owner admin, memberships, intake and consent forms, and standing orders
- Staff charting: fast patient search, IV physician orders, chart-by-exception nursing notes, post-service reports, and itemized receipts
- Audit logging on every clinical action
- Role-based logins for admin, physician, nurse, front desk, and client
Stack
Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Prisma with Postgres (Neon), and cookie sessions (jose and bcrypt). Deployed on Fly.io. It's designed for HIPAA, but compliance is a shared responsibility: production needs hosting vendors that sign a BAA.
